The lotion is a water-alcohol mixture with specific active ingredients: Piroctone Olamine, specific plant extracts and carbocysteine that by acting in synergy, sanitize and away dandruff, hampering its formation. The preparation is also enriched with Panthenol that has moisturizing, substantivizing and conditioning action. The formulation is a delicate base for the hair and scalp as devoid of SLES (Sodium Lauryl ether Sulfate) and SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate); also to ensure greater safety of use the product is free from parabens, colorants and is tested for verifying the levels of Nickel, Cobalt, Chromium, Palladio and Mercury, the main metals responsible for skin sensitization reactions.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
● Piroctone Olamine Organic salt having antimicrobial action, and for the high affinity to the keratin-rich tissues, such as the skin and the hair, acts locally in low concentrations. By controlling the fungal loads of Pityrosporum oval, head of pityriasis (overproduction widespread macroscopic scales), effectively counteracts the flaking and irritation of the scalp caused by the microorganism.
● Cinchona succirubra Bark Extract & Betula alba Leaf Extract The extract obtained from the bark of Cinchona succirubra, contain quinic acid, resin and essential oil. When applied to the skin, it has purifying effect, astringent and stimulating microcirculation, which make it a suitable component to keep the scalp in normal physiological conditions, stimulate the cells of hair follicles and decrease the hyper-secretion of sebum. The extract obtained from the leaves of Betula alba mainly consists of flavonoids, terpene alcohols and essential oil, has soothing, astringent and anti seborreich properties. The combined action of the active substances present in the extract is useful to normalize the scalp with dandruff and hyperseborrhoea.
● Carbocysteine Carbocysteine, or S-carboxymethylcysteine, is a derivative of cysteine sulfide, capable of releasing active sulfur that in the skin undergoes a slow transformation originating disulfides and alkali sulphides. These substances possess properties normalizing sebum.
● Panthenol Precursor of pantothenic acid, a natural component of hair, panthenol, or pro-vitamin B5, has substantivizing and conditioning properties for the keratin, as well the ability to provide gloss to the hair. It is inserted in the formula of many shampoos and conditioners in order to maintain the shiny and easy to comb hair. To perform these functions, panthenol penetrates the hair and keeps it hydrated, flexible and full-bodied.
HOW TO USE – Break the ampoule using the purpose-provided ampoule opener and apply the dispensing spout. – Apply to towel-dried hair and previously washed with Bioactive Hair Treatment D-Control anti dry dandruff shampoo. – Distribute the contents of one ampoule evenly throughout the hair. – Gently massage your hair and scalp. – Do not rinse and style your hair as usual.
FREQUENCY OF USE: Shock treatment: three ampoules per week every other days for 1 month or as needed. For maintenance, is recommended to use Bioactive Hair Treatment D-Control Lotion Anti Dandruff.
